Hi Iulia,

What are you seeing when you try to pick the PDF?

I'm running 7.1.1 also and can pick both images & PDFs from the media section OK. The picker generates a URL like: /media/1003/readme.pdf

Hi,

It looks like an empty folder. I am attaching two screen dumps so you can see what I see when I'm using the picker.

It works just fine with images but file-folders are completely empty.

I would also like to mention that I downloaded the package from here: http://our.umbraco.org/projects/backoffice-extensions/multi-url-picker and after installation it actually didn't run. It threw an error. Luckily I know my angular somewhat and it turns out that an "ng-app" was missing to be set. I just added "ng-app="umbraco" to define the app and then it worked.. But of course, I'm still missing this part regarding pdf-files. I haven't tried other formats.

That's interesting, I didn't have any issues when I installed the package - is it worth downloading a fresh 7.1.1 distribution and running windiff over it and your solution? I've installed from the NuGet package if that helps. I do have strange css issues with my U7 installation that I'm not seeing in any of the videos of the back-end.

This package just uses the linkpicker dialog that is supplied with umbraco - it doesn't contain any code that could cause what you're seeing.

Can you pick those pdf media items from any other umbraco dialog?

Hey, you are completely right! Thank you for the hint + explanation.

I can't see the files through the Media picker either!
Then maybe there is a problem with the Umbraco installation.

I will look more into that and come back with a status regarding to what the issue was.
