I'm sorry, I'm not following. Which page are you trying to fetch?
And are you sending a POST or a GET?
I don't observe the same behavior but perhaps I'm just not following your lead...

I am running your example.py
I tried a post request from the ui. And the output above was the header that was passed down to the post handler. There was no content in the request and the Content-Type was text/plain , should have been application/json i think.

This was a CORS issue (in the example code, not in the library).
Fixed here 1a6d136
