We actually have the support for multi user and authentication under the hood, but we haven't exposed this yet through the UI. We are currently looking at doing the UI authentication through github. This buys us two things 1) we don't have to store passwords 2) we can use github teams to support projects down the line.
@albertrdixon Would adding github login to the UI and then normal API key for API access work for you?

GitHub Authentication has been completed and API tokens added in if authentication is turned on. @albertrdixon The latest version has these features. If you feel as if it's not complete, please re-open.
