It might be a good idea to add an Attribution section at the bottom of the license like Contributor Covenant does (click on the Markdown version for an example). This way you can link back to this project and give a version number for people.

Agree, I think we can work towards a version 1.
In fact, to ease adoption, let's freeze it now as v0.1 (I'll just put the name change in first #9)
Then presumably anyone who doesn't want to upgrade from v0.1 to 1 doesn't have to.

How does the versioning process work? Do we just put the version number in the text of the license or does it become a release?
