version 2.0 how to get the error message from onValidationFailed listener? about android-saripaar HOT 3 CLOSED

This is how you do it,

public void onValidationFailed(List<ValidationError> errors) {
    for (ValidationError error : errors) {
        View failedView = error.getView();
        String errorMessage = error.getFailedRule().getMessage(this);

        if (failedView instanceof EditText) {
            ((EditText) failedView).setError(errorMessage);
        }
    }
}

@ragunathjawahar For v2, error.getRule() returns Rule which is NOT visible (non-public)

So how do I get the failed rule?

Like this? This is bad design..
AnnotationRule<?,?> rule = (AnnotationRule<?,?>) error.getFailedRule();
