This seems to be an issue with threading/calling the UI thread from a background worker. Looking into the code I think this line might cause this:

Which should be:
DelayAction.Execute(TimeSpan.FromMilliseconds(300), () => _window?.CloseNotification(notification.DisplayPart), _dispatcher);
I did not have time to confirm this. Wrapping the ClearMessage() call in an Application.Current.Dispatcher.Invoke() seems to fix this for now.

Hi, Just wanted to add that i have found this same behaviour while using the CountBasedLifetimeSupervisor(..).
