Of course.
In [_CandlesticksState] class there is an index
variable that holds the rightmost visible candle's index. it is initially -10 so when the chart runs you see a gap between the last candle and the right column. by changing this variable and doing setState chart jumps to your index. also, you have the list of candles available in this class (using widget.candles
) so you can go among them and find the index of the candle with corresponding time.
For a better UX, I suggest that going from index A to index B whould be animation otherwise the chart jumps to your index.
And the other thing is handle you UI things in [MobileChart] and [DesktopChart] classes and pass up the timestamp using callback you pass down in [_CandlesticksState] class.
