Please make sure you are using node version 9 or earlier.

I have unsuccessfully tried to downgrade node with homebrew - this breaks node on my system. I guess I have to wait until jupyter-drawio supports current versions of node.

Jupyterlab supports node LTS (node 8) for installing extensions. Unfortunately, a bug in yarn prevents jupyterlab from supporting node 10 at the moment.

If you are using conda, you can do conda install 'nodejs<10'

Closing as answered. We hope the bug in yarn is fixed soon so we can support node 10!
