I agree with this.

For what it's worth, the 0.5 group widget has a better indication of which screen has focus in multihead setups. (I agree this is still an issue; #121 should fix it, although it needs to be rebased against the new release.)

What happened with this one? I don't multiscreen

tych0 avatar tych0 commented on May 10, 2024

I got lazy I think is what happened. When you multi screen, every screen has a focus decoration instead of there being exactly one focus decoration globally.

Test
I set both monitors on MonadTall layout. I get focus decorations only on one window. I think this can be closed.

Mhhh nop, sorry, this is definitely not fixed for me, at least with the Columns layout: Screenshot from 2019-10-16 16-50-10

Seems like it's layout specific then? For the layouts I use (xmonad and stack) it works.

Lots of changes since last October could have fixed this. Still a thing? :)

ramnes avatar ramnes commented on May 10, 2024

Oh wait, it only happens when I toggle groups on one screen, not when I jump from a screen to another (with the mouse or with a keybinding). That may explain why you guys couldn't reproduce.
