Cannot run test:e2e:swarm on existing swarm about core-assisted-prescription HOT 4 CLOSED

What does docker-machine ls return? The test tries to use your manager docker machine name that the use-case generates during swarm deployment (e.g. ahn-docker-manager1).

@wennmo Perhaps it would be better if getTestHost() did docker-machine ip <machine name> since DNS for the machine might not work with OSX and Virtualbox, while the IP would.

I'll take a look at it. Using the IP address instead of the hostname in the tests is a small change, but it would still be good to investigate why the hostname can't be resolved on OS X.

I can confirm that e.g. ahn-docker-manager1 is not a valid hostname on OSX using Virtualbox. It's likely due to the default network in Virtualbox is host-only, and there's no DNS server to register against.

The same would likely happen if you would disconnect from our corporate network and created a new local swarm on Windows.
