I've added code to have easier control over the window size in 9a85362 which makes it possible to have control over the resolution of the image.
The size of the window will be the resolution of the saved image.
from pyvista.
When plotting, set the window_size
to control the resolution:
import vtki
sphere = vtki.Sphere()
# set size on initialization:
plotter = vtki.BackgroundPlotter(window_size=[500, 500])
plotter.add_mesh(sphere, show_edges=True)
# or change it after initializing:
plotter.window_size = 1000, 1000
# or even pass it when calling screenshot:
plotter.screenshot('foo.png', window_size=[400,400])
