minItems property behaviour about jsonschema HOT 3 CLOSED

I'm reopening this temporarily.

I know why you closed it, since you noticed that it didn't work even with 2 items, and then figured out something was up. Which, you then likely figured out, was that you were using a string instead of an integer for minItems, which is not valid JSON Schema.

It's still confusing to get a ValidationError there, it should be a SchemaError, hence the reopen. I'm gonna implement meta-schema validation I think, which will fix this correctly.

I was using a string instead of an integer. I'm glad you guess my issue despite my poor analysis.

So your approach is definitely the right thing to do.
