As it says in a comment within the QR code library you're using, The spec
requires a border 4 times as thick as the size of the base QR code pixel size.
Given that we can't set border=16 without making the QR code more than 255 rows
tall, the simplest solution is what I did here:

(There's already precedent for changing the alignment. You force center
alignment without restoring the old alignment in barcode() )
