According to the standard, the date given should be an iCalendar "date with UTC time", hence the current logic is actually wrong. Moreover, the timestamp should end with Z for "zulu-time", to explicitly show that it's UTC-time - hence the current library implementation is doing it wrong.

So the right thing to do is probably to convert dates into timestamps, convert the timestamps given from localtime to UTC-time and add a "Z" to the timestamp.

The sleasy-easy-thing to do is to assume all input timestamps given are already in UTC, and just add the missing Z.

I'm working on a proper fix ... the former.
