I'll leave this open until there is a release with your fix, thank you for understanding!

I don't know if I'll be able to help you with this. I created an out of band patch release because the bug was quite critical and people kept reporting so first I did:
git checkout -b hatch-v1.9.x hatch-v1.9.1
then I did:
ambr "__TOKEN__" "__token__"
then I created the release which tagged that new branch. All other releases get tagged from master but in this case there were too many changes and I am not prepared for the next minor release.
Did I do something wrong?

Thanks for your response. What you say makes sense given the nature of 1.9.2 – I’m sure you understand that I interact with a lot of upstreams with different development and release practices. As long as the fix is on track to appear eventually, e.g. in a 1.10.0 minor release, I’m happy. I can carry the patch as long as needed.
Please feel free to leave this open for tracking, or close it since the fix is in master
– whichever is more useful for you.
