Never ever cap your requires-python version:

This causes all sorts of bad things; numba, numpy, and others have tried to add an upper cap, and found out the hard way that they are not supported properly in the Python ecosystem. This field is used for backsolving, which is never correct for an upper cap. An older version of your code is not more likely to work on a newer version of Python!
