Hi @tstorek
Thanks for this issue.
The env_prefix
config only works with the field name for now. So, if you remove Field(env="...")
in your models it works.
from pydantic-settings.
As you may know, Pydantic V2
is going to be released soon. In V2
, setting management is a separate package pydantic-settings
and you have to install it separately.
pydantic-settings
is in beta and you can install it by pip install pydantic-settings --pre
.
You can find pydantic-settings
documentation here
from pydantic-settings.
Hi @hramezani,
thanks for the reponse. Due to dependencies I am still with v1. Is it possible to install pydantic-settings without v2?
Will it be fixed that env_prefix
also works with env
-aliases?

Hi @tstorek
Is it possible to install pydantic-settings without v2?
No, pydantic-settings
needs Pydantic V2
as a dependancy.
Will it be fixed that env_prefix also works with env-aliases?
Not sure for now. But we will accept a PR that adds this functionality
from pydantic-settings.
