This at 0146d44 (pyopenssl 0.14)
from pyopenssl.
Actually I get the same error on Windows 8 64 bit. So this is probably due to the openssl version used in both cases (1.0.1f). I updated the issue description
from pyopenssl.
I confirm this failure on Gentoo GNU/Linux (OpenSSL 1.0.1f, cryptography 0.2.2).

I tried to set up a testing environment with OpenSSL 1.0.1f but was unable to so working on a fix for this issue is a little challenging. Any additional information you can provide would be helpful.

I see this problem on NetBSD too.

Also quite recent openssl (1.0.1f with AES-NI patch).

I can confirm this bug is still happening with 0.14 on Debian unstable, with openssl 1.0.1i

Pretty sure this is fixed nowadays.
