Hey! So yes, you have identified the issue correctly. For local testing, I would say just test the PWA installed from Chrome, unless you need to test any specific code you may have added to your TWA. @khmyznikov or @Jaylyn-Barbee any other ideas?

I found a workaround to make it work locally

• build a signed your APK locally with a personal password (not in sync with the google store)
• generate the SHA256 from this personal password and use it into an assetlinks.json
• use this new assetlinks.json on an environment where you have more freedom instead of the assetlinks that has been generated with the google store password/key

To make it work locally with the debug mode, I still haven't found a solution
