Does this project need to exist? about gelf4j HOT 2 OPEN

We are using this lib in production without issues and will have fixes coming for it whenever we run into problems. So yes, it will continue to exist as we continue to use it.

The other gelf4j project is not a fork and this is not a fork of the other one. I guess they decided to reuse the name of this lib despite of this project existing - unfortunate name choice.

Hope that clears it up.

I noticed this project is stale and there is a newer version at is maintained at https://github.com/realityforge/gelf4j. It's also confusing because this project doesn't show as a fork to https://github.com/realityforge/gelf4j or vice versa.
