It works on Linux.
// libnfc.h
/**
* @fn const char* nfc_version(void)
* @brief Returns the library version
* @return Returns a string with the library version
*/
const char* nfc_version(void);
// libnfc.c
#include "../config.h"
const char* nfc_version(void)
{
return VERSION;
}

You're right, but what about Windows users ? and config.h is produce by
./configure
(from autotools) but libnfc have now Autotools and CMake build system.

- Changed state: Fixed
- Added labels: OpSys-All, Milestone-1.3.0
from libnfc.
It doesn't. Not if you use a out-of-source build directory (which is much nicer
than
in source tree build)
mkdir bin
cd bin
cmake ..
make
It can't find config.h this way.
