I've been holding out for a couple helper functions that would basically just return GQL strings for users that they could use in non-Python systems (for example, if you wanted a slack button that resumed a task, you could call the helper to generate the exact API call you needed to make). However I haven't actually done so (and am waiting to see what the most high-value targets are) so I've been using this issue as a reminder. I'd leave it open for now if that's ok with you?
