Is it a subclass of Environment similar to DockerContainer?
from prefect.
Yup, I'm thinking build()
would just return the serialized pickle, and at a future time we'll need to add a standard "recreate" method which would deserialize the pickle (the equivalent of pulling the docker image -- just want to pick a single method name that all environments can share)
The "recreate" step will need some discussion, since we interact with containers via CLI but presumably this pickled object could be interacted with directly... so let's pick up that conversation later. But as a first step, I think just adding the environment type will be a big help for server testing.
