QR codes are similar to two-dimensional barcodes and are used to store data efficiently. They are very popular in today’s world due to their numerous advantages. Our project aims to use this technology in the verification of driving licenses in a very short time. At the time of driving the driver needs to carry various documents such as his license, vehicle registration book, and other documents. However, when the vehicle is stopped by the police, the police need to verify each document, this takes a lot of time and causes many problems like traffic and waste of time. even after that police cannot be able to verify the license is original or fake. This system will help traffic police in detecting fake drivers license holders. After detecting fake users the driver has to pay the fines issued by the traffic enforcers. This system also keeps records of fines issues to a particular user so after n no of times they can take strict action against a particular driver. our system will allow the employees of the RTO to generate a new driving license with a QR code for every applicant who has successfully passed the test drive which makes their job a lot easier. The police can then use the data collected by the system to check the details of the user. Our system can be useful for tackling the growing road accident problem in India.
