Of course since ft is set to "man" docft should be set to "perldoc" to make hyperlinks work. Fixed patch is attached.

Actually perldoc output format depends on -o option, which can be provided in environment variable, and looks like I've $PERLDOC=-otext and thus didn't noticed this. I'll check is it makes sense to switch to man format or just force -otext in viewdoc.

I'm unable to get -oman to work on my system (perl-5.16) - no sure why, but in this mode perldoc produce ansi sequences, so col -b doesn't help. -otext and -oansi works ok.
