installation instructions using pip may need some updating about powerline HOT 4 CLOSED

Documentation tells that you can use --user switch to have user installation:

If you don't have root access or don't want to install Powerline system-wide, install with pip install --user instead.

Well, you're using an ancient version of pip (the last change in the 0.7.x branch was 3 years ago), which explains this issue. I don't know if I want this as the default installation instructions, but I can add it to the troubleshooting docs. Ideally we'd be able to provide a debian package later to avoid this issue altogether.
