Ajax not working about jquery-validation-engine HOT 16 CLOSED

no idea, we fixed the ajax demo yesterday. If you didn't get the master (2.0) chances are the code is buggy.

I can confirm the demo is working.

beforeCall is being called, but the submission script is throwing the following errors:
TypeError: Result of expression 'json' [null] is not an object.
ajaxSubmitFormFailed to load resource: cancelled

This is probably because there isn't a handler for the ajax submission.

I can't reproduce this issue, could you provide instructions on how to reproduce it ?

On demoAjax.html the form is trying to submit to ajaxSubmitForm, which it cannot find.

Most demos are functional by opening their respective HTML file. However, the Ajax demos require the use of Java6 to launch a lightweight http server.

Run the script runDemo.bat (Windows) or runDemo.sh (Unix) from the folder
Open a browser pointing at http://localhost:9173

no worries, it happens.. actually we should probable add a RED blinking msg in the ajax page. We are getting a lot of these issues lately...

I might have a real issue for you soon. I'm working on using VE for an ajax form submit. It's not going smoothly, but that might be on my end.

Hay guys,

I can't still get it to work because of some reason. My code doesn't trigger the Ajax method in the class. Can I have the previous version of the validation.js file?
Does it work with jQuery1.4.4?

Wil, all versions are in Git. It should work with 1.4.4, did you try the ajax demo.

Make sure you get the master.
