Callback for selecting an item from the dropdown about jquery-mentions-input HOT 2 CLOSED

Late response, but might help someone else.. There's no callback function for selecting an item from the dropdown but you can quickly add one..

Go to addMention() function and at the end add the following line of code:
elmInputBox.trigger('mention-select');

Then in your js you can use this as a custom event callback.. Something like this:

$('.mentionInputClass').on('mention-select', function(){
//do your custom stuff
})
