Binary built by rubyc contain read only file system. All files in Rails.root.dir created in runtime will not saved. That is why your cache unreachable. Which version rubyc do you use?

hi, I am too use rubyc. First, search closed issues here - some problems I tried to solve, and for information. Second, about your current problem. You can config tmp cache folder in rails config. You need place out from Rails.root.dir, ex. /tmp/youapp/. it is not official info, but info based on my experience))

And you need compile assets before send to compile to rubyc.

I have a questions about your first comment. How do I go about configuring the tmp cache folder in rails config? Do I do this in the config/environments/development.rb file. I've attached screenshot of current configurations. What code should I change or add to the attached file?
from ruby-packer.
config.cache_store = :file_store, "/path/to/cache/directory"
Try to add it.
