Blocking Pluralkit Members about pluralkit HOT 3 CLOSED

Hi, PK Staff here!

Unfortunately, due to how Discord, webhooks, & PK work, it is literally impossible for us to add in any sort of blocking feature into the bot. We hate that fact, too, and would add in a blocking feature if we could. With how Discord is set up, you cannot control who sees webhook messages (everyone can see it, or no one can), and because PK uses webhooks to (re)send its messages you cannot control who does or doesn't see PK messages.

Afaik this isn’t possible (unless you go the third-party route, which can be found in the Discord). Due to how PluralKit works, everyone sending messages through the same webhook(s), it is impossible to block proxied messages without blocking all of them, and I don’t think blocking webhooks is even an option to begin with
