[BUG] - Fails to authenticate with Plex. about plexripper HOT 4 OPEN

Just to be sure, should step 6 of the reproduction steps you mentioned be in a particular language or will reading out loud the commit messages from my local git history be sufficient? Mostly dutch and english... occassionally german right before going goblin mode, works on my pc.

I know there are some issues where the frontend application is not very in sync with the server side which communicates with Plex. I know from experience that sometimes, for technical reasons we're working on, the interface shows an error or an issue, or seems not to respond while the server side in the background is in fact working. The front and backend aren't handling statuses and timeouts etc. very well. known issue.
In my experience, patience is key with this solution and when in doubt, wait a bit longer and hit the refresh button of your browser. Do not spam buttons, this causes workloads to pile up and cause more issues.

Though your report made me laugh a bit, I recognize a bit of my first experience perhaps. That's why I mention this.

It could also be another issue or perhaps you are using a newer apple chip? M1/M2? I build ARM docker images on a raspberry pi and used a friends macbook to see if it will run and it does, but it is pretty untested beyond that on newer apple chipsets simply because I don't have one. I use a tweaked 2012 MBP and a hackintosh but I can ask my friend to borrow his for a bit of debugging if you are using a newer apple sillicon (M1/M2 chip).

If anyone got this running properly on a newer apple device (apple silicon M1/M2/MWhatever) please let me know. Would help me solve issues related to this in the future.

Pretty much anything will work in step 6, as long as it is done loudly, and with vigorous intonation 🤣

I am indeed running on M1 Apple silicon, though if you aren’t inclined to debug for that I understand- I have a KDE Neon box here I can also try it on.

I did try letting it sit and refresh the browser with little luck, though when I saw the log errors I’ll admit to not waiting as long as I likely could have lol
