I'll look into this! This is probably due to the Sign In activity getting killed before the dialog gets a chance to display, so it gets killed with it. Thanks for reporting.

Thanks! Also, in a similar vein (perhaps - if not, I can open another issue), the progress indicator icon that shows that something is happening (the spinning circle) is very blurry on my Nexus 7. Is this something built into Android, or is it part of this plugin and, therefore, something we can potentially fix?

This issue seems related to #7. I also noticed this issue - the error dialog appears, but immediately disappears, with the error log from issue #7. Additionally, it seems that the authentication failure callback is not called in this instance.
EDIT: Actually, the callback does work, my bad!
