Same issue when you rename the directory from "dxbeehq4vvf7q" to "project-name", the symlinks are not accurate anymore.
Symlinks must be relative to the project repo.

If you run the command 'platform get [platformid] alias" then the symlinks work just fine on a Mac OSX (if that helps anyone)

@joshmiller83 The issue is they break once the folder is shared into a VM via Vagrant. Unless I'm not understanding your note...
