Just a note here, too. I'm cool with these "new" and "updated" tags if we wanted to roll these out. I'd say "new" should stick with a fresh document for a month, and so should the "updated" tag.

I agree with Nate's assessment here but thought in my initial draft that it would be nice to have a callout for translations since contributing them might be easier with this new platform. That said, we maybe don't need to dig in here right away. I'm happy with whatever decision we make here but would prefer if James and Kevin weighed in.

I'd suggest not digging in here right away - let's get the house in order first; then focus on English contributions; then translations.

For future reference, @AhemNason mentioned a desire to highlight new or updated resources. Here's a quick look at what that could be:

Just a note pertaining to our other conversation that this is largely the reason I think breaking individual docs out makes it's own sense. These flags don't exist for list items in a card with a whack of docs in it. It's also hard to link out to multi-lingual docs this way.

Hey Nate, I think it would be good to have options for both the banner-like display, "new", and "updated" tags. If that's cool. I can fold their use into a document for updating the docs. I was going to throw a "new" tag on our GDPR document, for example.

Ok, a couple questions: how long should a "new" or "updated" tag stay around? Will there be a set period or will it change depending on the resource? Would it be better to specify an expiry date when you add an updated tag?

Yeah, I think that's a cool call if it's possible. But given the rate of release, I'd say a month is probably ok as a standard value.

@NateWr just reviewing some old tickets right now - were the 'new' or 'updated' tags implemented, or is this still a "to do"?

Still a todo and sounds like maybe not a priority?
