Opening URL in default browser about conrod HOT 3 CLOSED

+1 to xdg-open [URL] on Linux. From what I read, it's either not available or doesn't work for this in Red Hat, but definitely does in Ubuntu-family distros. Works on my Mint. Also appears to be available on Arch. Not sure about Debian.

For Windows, start [URL] should work, according to my searches. Will have to test tomorrow on my Windows machine, as I've shut it down for the night.

For Mac, it appears to be open [URL]. Don't have a Mac to test this on.

These are all shell commands, of course. xdg-open appears to stay alive in the terminal after starting the browser, but ending it won't exit the new browser window as far as I can tell. Hopefully the others behave similarly so we don't have to keep the browser as a child process.
