@bogdan-d i'm catching the interrupt signal to finish the progress cleanly see. CTRL+C works for me, it doesn't explode by throwing an error but ends progress and returns.

You should throw an interrupt exception after finish to inform whole app about stop working. Because IO threads can't stop in other ways

Thats why if you will use tty-progressbar with IO operations - CTRL+C will not working

Agreed, after cleanup reraising is probably the best policy here.
