It appears this has been updated in grunt-s3 master, but when specifying v "0.2.0-alpha" in my project's package.json, NPM is installing an older version that specifies knox 0.6.0.
Anyone know what's going on with this?

Ah ha. The standard npm install is what installs the old version.
Just like the Readme for this version specifies, you'll need to npm install grunt-s3 --save-dev to get the latest knox.
I hope this helps someone else.
