These tests are qunit tests and pass currently when run directly by launching the index.html page in the tests folder. How are they being executed on the build server?

Actually, I don't think they are being run on the build server. I run them on my machine by launching them through the ReSharper test runner. And then they fail. Which browser are you using to run the tests? I was using Internet Explorer 10 - I didn't try IE11 yet, will do that when I'm back at work later today.

I tested did. The funny thing is: when I simply open the tests.html page in windows explorer, everything is green. It's only when the ReSharper test runner runs the tests that they fail (with only 2 or 3 passing tests). ReSharper spins up a web browser and serves the tests.html page as index file on that web server. Weird.
