totally agree... the example is minimal. In cordova-plugin-push-notification you had just to copy and paste the example and that's it. Just finished today making a few changes to the cordova plugin and it became deprecated.... this one now is totally different... how funny

@federicoitollo Did you look in the example directory?
Yes, this plugin is different but the plugin has a consistent API which will reduce the if (OS) do this type of coding you had to do with the other one.

Terribly sorry: my fault.
I looked at the example code late at night, it just looked too short (and easy) to handle push notifications. Now I tried and it's working perfectly.
Anyway I noticed that deprecated code for iOS 8 is still there just like not receiving notifications when the app is in foreground but there are lots of posts about this issues... Tried a couple but not working for me, I'll try others.
