As a proof of concept, I've installed and enabled MEL Catalog integration in cove-studio. This is one possible and eventual solution for media uploads and asset management. It's probably not in scope to customize MEL catalog for use with COVE 2.0. But 2.1 or beyond, yes, if it's decided that this is a good solution, and if it's prioritized.

In the meantime, for both document embedding and for annotation embedding, we can use either the COVE drupal site, or any other web-accessible media. Marking as delivered.

A question -- can COVE expose a read-only HTTP/JSON endpoint listing available (maybe categorized) media assets for inclusion in documents/annotations? Capturing that in #32
