It's not a core part of the Post, and it's fine how it is, assuming you mean:
So what do you think? Did I miss something? Is any part unclear? Leave your comments below.

Yeah I was referring to that part. You are right, it is not part of the article. That's why I kept it's color different.
My future plan includes adding links to share the article on social networks in there as I mentioned here #24. So in next iteration it can read "Did you like this article? Please share it on twitter, Facebook and Google Plus. Please discuss it on Reddit"
Now lets think about visitor engagement. If the style is different, as soon as the article finishes, reader gets a visible cue that it's done. It's over. Lets move on.
He will either not read "So what do you think" part or will not pay attention to it. This will result in less engagement with the user.
Let me know what you think now?
Ideally we should run A/B testing before deciding anything. My blog is still nascent. I cannot perform A/B testing with such low traffic. Let me know If you or any other user will like to perform A/B testing on this issue.

I really doubt the color there would meaningfully impact engagement. Also, my blog sees < 500 visitors a month, so there won't be any meaningful data there.

These guys have made text smaller, put a separator, but did not change the color. I prefer yours.

Hmm, I guess I should look around for examples, especially blogs with high traffic and see how they do it. Alternatively, I can wait till my blog start getting a good amount of traffic so that I can A/B test it 😄
Anyway, I am removing it from milestone but it is still open for discussion.

For my blog, I inserted a horizontal rule followed by the Twitter share button right above the comments section (still need to adjust spacing). I felt I needed to separate it from the article content with the rule. Using a different color would work just as well, I think.

@calfzhou will you please share your views on this issue? My opinion is

What do you think? What should be the default style?

I personally prefer a horizontal line to split comment block away from article content, or at least some significant signals indicate the end of the article.
I think the key point of @talha131's opinion is too increase the chance of a visitor read the comment intro, before he move away. This will encourage him leave some comments.
Think about a more general case - there is a visible comment box. When the visitor reaches the last part of the article, he will see the comment box, he will know that this site encourages (or at least allows) him to leave some text. In this case, visitor actually don't need read the comment intro (unless he wants to know if there is any restriction or syntax guideline).
In our elegant theme
case, the major issue is that the comment box and all existing comments are invisible at first. The visitor doesn't know whether this site welcomes comment or not, unless he read the comment intro. So my opinion is that (i'm not sure whether it is easy to implement) 1. give comment intro a different style to distinguish with the article; 2. make the comment box visible; 3. make existing comments invisible, until he click the number of comments link.

Thank you @calfzhou
the major issue is that the comment box and all existing comments are invisible at first.
Yup, that's the main problem. This is why I am concerned that we are not doing enough to increase users' engagement.
- make the comment box visible; 3. make existing comments invisible, until he click the number of comments link.
One important principle of user engagement is to make sure that new visitors read all previous comments and posts before making a new one. So that he/she adds to the existing conversation. He/she does not unnecessarily start a conversation that is already under discussion.
Let me know if my opinion is unclear.
