Could you give the output of dpkg -l python3-gi gir1.2-gtk-3.0 libgtk-3-0 ?

btw it would be handy to change in the readme python -m pdfarranger into python3 -m pdfarranger because it doesn't work with python 2.
$ python --version
Python 2.7.15rc1
$ python3 --version
Python 3.6.7

https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/pygobject/issues/29 as been fixed in python3-gi 3.29 and I have 3.30. Example of workaround: https://github.com/MicahCarrick/python-bloatpad/blob/master/bloatpad.py#L106

no more error on startup and I can use it as intended.
