I'd love that! When I built the button, I didn't know the API existed,
that's why I didn't incorporate the upvote counter. I simply don't have the
time to add the functionality, so if you want to give it a shot, go for it!

with an API and get this working. However, I really like the idea behind
this repo, and I'd really like to contribute something to it.
