I've made #186 to be able to continue development while synchronization is active. Last time I've synchronized with mainnet it reached block# ~195000, then I've cancelled it. So now I'm going to start it again. Could you guys please do the same, so we could confirm (or not) that we can sync the whole chain? I'm syncing mainnet, you could start with testnet, if able to.
@debris Also about loading blockchain from file - is it really required in milestone 1? I haven't seen any import command notice in requirements, so maybe network-sync is a priority? I could spend some time building/utilizing existing blocks verification queue for BlockWriter, but is it really a top priority now? As I see, a top priority currently is to:
- sync with mainnet && testnet
- fix regtests
- support all bitcoin protocol messages (as it's requirement for milestone 1)

I find syncing from file an easy way to prove that verification works correctly. you are right, it's not a part of spec, it's just something I would like we have. And of course I forgot to list regtests. I updated the list

it's not like a "fix" if they were not working on the first place :)
