Hi,
The plugin listed on the tooling integration page https://github.com/pactflow/pact-cypress-adapter was designed to be used for Bi-Directional Contract testing workflows, whereby the request/response is checked against an OAS spec for static schema comparison as you have eluded to.
Matchers are not used, as the evaluation will be performed against the type specified in the oas document, and therefore inferred from the pact consumer contract concrete example
