Hello,
There has been a recent (but important) change to the source code of the app to allow users to register their own OAuth2 apps with reddit and imgur (instead of using my credentials). The need for this was pointed out to me in various reddit comments and this issue.
The app was previously using my credentials. The app now requires you to register for your own credentials to prevent key reuse, "too many requests" http errors etc.
See here for how to do this. It takes just a few minutes to get this set up.
You received the error (prawcore.exceptions.InvalidToken: received 401 HTTP response
) because my client ID and secret (i.e., the tokens) are now invalid.
Apologies for the inconvenience but this was a necessary best-practices change.
