I still use it on some production servers and keeping it up to date would be appreciated.

Regarding the base image, I understood that you want to keep them and will also take a look at that.

There are many old issues that could easily be cleaned up like this, see e.g. #28 or #4 which is basically not solvable without any infos and is most likely a user issue which is probably also fixed until now.
