Error running pip3 install -r requirements.txt on downloaded model's example_code directory about geti-sdk HOT 1 CLOSED

This could be resulting from Cython having a version greater than 3. I faced a similar issue with installing requirements and had a problem in scikit-learn (similar to your numpy). Here's how I solved it:
The step is to downgrade cython, and then specifically install the libraries you have issue on before using the requirements.txt.
For me, the issue was with scikit-learn v0.24.2 (check your numpy version that is required to install)

1. downgrade cython by “pip install cython==0.29.3”
2. Followed by “pip install scikit-learn==0.24.2 --no-build-isolation”
   In the above process pip uses not a runtime package but local Cython to compile.

And once both were ready,
I used the requirements.txt to install the remainder which ran without issues as it just skips installing scikit.
So running the command “python -m pip install -r requirements.txt” works without issues.

In your case it would be something like "pip install numpy==x.xx.x --no-build-isolation" in step 2 and hopefully that should work.
