Sniffer not working for KW41Z NCP node about pyspinel HOT 3 CLOSED

Update:
Writing to a file first and then open the file in wireshark works, so it has something to do with the redirection

sudo python sniffer.py -c 18 -n 1 --no-reset --crc -u /dev/ttyACM1 -o output.pcap

I've found a way around it, just posting this for reference.
The idea is to write the output from sniffer.py to a file, redirect his file to a pipe and open the pipe in wireshark:

mkfifo /tmp/wirepipe
sudo python sniffer.py -c 18 -n 1 --no-reset --crc -u /dev/ttyACM0 -o output.pcap
tail -n +0 -f output.pcap > /tmp/wirepipe
wireshark -k -i /tmp/wirepipe

This insures 'live' updates, since reading the file (output.pcap) in wireshark only loads the past packets (so no live updates), while using a pipe can do live updates.
