I think this is a good feature to have, but disagree with the implementation. It shouldn't be when the ROV was started but should be user initiated when the ROV hits the water.

I think you're both right. I think Simone's issue is good for the V1 release. And I see Tony's point about measuring time when the ROV is submerged.

My thought is to go with Simone's idea for v1, then work out a more comprehensive time management display after we've done some more testing.

Maybe Dive time is not what It should be called. Probably it should be another issue.
The time the ROV is on is needed for power management: if you keep the ROV turned on for 1h without diving the battery are still dead anyway :)

Yes, these are probably two different terms. Run Time & Dive Time

Both would be useful. Dive time will probably have to be manually activated, like an odometer on a car.
